We’re always looking for ways to make student life better.

It’s our job. And we take our jobs seriously. (Peter is proudly wearing an Employee of the Month badge right now. He’s radiating.)

Every time we run a major contest, we always want to get the winner’s parents in on the surprise. Your parents are important. That goes without saying.

What we’ve discovered is that parents are often huge backers of their child’s education, financially and otherwise. We owe so much to our parents—for raising us, putting up with our crap, and helping put us through school. Maybe it wasn’t your parents that raised you. Maybe it was Grandma Joan or Aunt Cecilia.

On a personal level, many of our parents at SLN helped us out with our education. And that’s why we’re proud to introduce Thank You Mom & Dad (Or Thank You Grandma Joan!) to thank those you love the most with $20,000.

“Every student wants to thank their parents for helping them with school, but most can’t,” says Steve Sills, Co-founder of Student Life Network. “That was the foundation for Thank You Mom & Dad.”

We got to work right away. When we brought up the idea with RBC there was an instant synergy. Our values aligned. They wanted to make it happen.

Thank You Mom & Dad is a brand new experience at SLN. Students will be able to fully customize their personal Thank You page. Students will be able to add photos of their parents, to upload a heartfelt video and to tell the story of why they want to thank their parents.
