This year, the winner of Canada’s Luckiest Student will take home $66,263.16 in life-changing prizes! Consequently, here’s everything you need to know about who the winner might be and what comes next for the surprise winner reveal.

Without fail, the minute that Canda’s Luckiest Student closes every year, we start getting flooded with messages and comments from excited students across the country who want to know if they’ve won. So if you’re one of those students anxious to find out, we have some good news for you…

We have a new winner!

But here’s the thing, we can’t just type out the winner’s name here, that would be way too anticlimactic. Because part of the fun of winning Canada’s Luckiest Student is getting surprised in an epic way. We’ve set up fake movie screenings, put on a virtual game show, and even had one winner unknowingly plan her own surprise. And this year will be no different.

UPDATE 2 (Jun 2, 2022): We have a reveal date set (and it’s soon)! Still deciding between a couple big ideas for how to pull off the surprise.

UPDATE 1 (May 18, 2022): It’s an exciting time because we just got out of our first planning meeting! We’re working hard at coming up with a great surprise for the winner.
