The Best Eight Careers for Canadian Graduates in 2020

The best careers for Canadian graduates in 2020 aren’t necessarily surprising. But they’re safe. Especially from robots.

“So, what kind of job is that degree going to get you?”

It’s the same question every student is asked. About 34 times a week.

Then there’s the added stress if a robot will take your job. Automation is a real threat to many jobs. Here’s a cool website—literally called Will Robots Take My Job—that shows what percentage of your industry will be automated by robots named Alpha 500 in the near future.

But it’s not all grim. The Baby Boomers, for instance, are beginning to retire. A little late (read: 10 years late), but it’s happening nonetheless. Those job opportunities are starting to open in a big way.

If you’re curious about the breakdown of jobs in your specific province, check out this article by Global News. It breaks down job placements based on province, and separated by university and college education.
